Rachel is a registered Medical Practitioner, with specialist training in mental health, and a personal and professional Coach and Counsellor. She has worked in both public and private mental health, and in the tertiary education sectors in Australia and the United Kingdom for over 20 years.

Since 2015, Rachel has worked within the field of Occupational Medicine, providing physical and psychological assessments, advice and coaching regarding the impact of work on health and vice versa to a range of industries, including oil and gas, mining, healthcare and local government. She is also an accredited Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board Authorised Health Professional.

Having worked for several years in the Communication and Clinical Practice Domain at Notre Dame University Medical School, latterly as Associate Professor and Chair of the Domain, she is an excellent communicator and the researcher, author and facilitator of various Communication Skills programmes. As a health and wellbeing assessor and educator with a particular interest in workplace health and culture, Rachel provides in-house education to a variety of companies on mental health and work-culture topics and challenges.
